The Fertility Center is a family clinic located in the center of Bilbao, specifically in the Moyúa area. It is staffed by a multidisciplinary team of professionals (gynecologists, andrologists, nurses, biologists, and others) with decades of experience and training in assisted reproduction.
Our gynecologists have over 30 years of professional experience, which contributes to the success rate we offer in our treatments (in vitro fertilization, artificial insemination, egg donation, egg freezing, etc.).

Our fertility treatments also incorporate the most efficient and advanced embryo identification and selection techniques, such as preimplantation genetic testing and embrace.

Finally, we have a large laboratory equipped with the most innovative technologies currently available in the field of assisted reproduction.

Get to know the fertility laboratory

The laboratory is the heart of every assisted reproduction clinic. The success of treatments depends largely on its technology and the work of biologists.

For this reason, the Bilbao Fertility Center has a large laboratory divided into three areas. Furthermore, the laboratory is fully operational 365 days a year, as our embryologists are on duty on holidays and weekends.

Andrology Laboratory

Semen sample space. This area performs seminograms, sperm capacitation, sperm selection, and other tests related to male sperm. The andrology laboratory is equipped with a positive pressure ventilation system, a laminar flow hood, a biological safety centrifuge, two microscopes, and an oven.

Cryopreservation Laboratory

This area is used for oocyte and sperm cryopreservation, and embryo vitrification and devitrification. It is therefore a key area in female fertility preservation treatments (oocyte freezing) or in vitro fertilization techniques requiring egg donation.

Embryology and PGT-A Laboratory

This area is directly connected to the operating room by a door. This means that all samples obtained (such as oocytes from follicular puncture) are processed and stored immediately. In this space, the light and temperature conditions are very precisely regulated. This way, we maintain optimal conditions for embryo growth in the laboratory.

Artificial insemination

Our team of fertility experts has been working for over 30 years with patients who have already realized their dream of starting a family.

Fecondazione in vitro (FIV)

It involves stimulating the ovaries to extract eggs. They are then fertilized in the laboratory with sperm, and the resulting embryo is transferred to the uterus.

Egg donation

This is an in vitro fertilization treatment in which the eggs of an anonymous donor are fertilized with the partner's sperm sample.

Double donation

This is an in vitro fertilization treatment in which both eggs and sperm are obtained from anonymous donors.

CLOTHING Method

For female couples, when both want to participate in the pregnancy: one provides the eggs and the other carries the pregnancy to term.

Preservation of female fertility

This is an in vitro fertilization treatment in which the eggs of an anonymous donor are fertilized with the partner's sperm sample.

Fertility studies

We offer fertility testing for men and women who wish to assess their reproductive health.

Pre-implantation genetic testing

It involves performing a biopsy of the embryos to identify any abnormalities, such as Down syndrome.

Test Embrace
